SoonerCare Pregnancy Plan

Things To Know:

Coverage extends for 12 months postpartum, even in the event of miscarriage or other end of pregnancy.

The automatic 12-month extension continues even if income goes up above eligibility guidelines. For non-citizens, the Soon-to-be-Sooner (STBS) plan does not have a 12-month extension.

You can still be approved for SoonerCare during pregnancy in the following cases:

Pregnant persons can answer “no” to questions on “cooperating with child support” or “name of other parent” and still be approved for SoonerCare during pregnancy coverage or for the 12-month extension after pregnancy ends.

Families with higher incomes may be eligible for low-cost Marketplace plans.

Discounts may be available when income is within certain ranges and a health plan is not offered by your job, your spouse’s job, and you are not eligible for SoonerCare. Click here or call (833) 465-7526 to learn more.
